When God Moves You Out of Your Comfort Zone – Pt. 2
Gen. 22:17
Last week, we saw that for God to bless you, He had to move you from where you are to the place of His comfort. You may have your own goals, all planned out so well by you and you feel ok where you are, but one thing you should know is that, when God moves you out of your comfort zone, He wants to bless you, be gracious to you, make you great, and bless everyone who joins themselves to you (Exodus 33:19; Gen. 12:2-3). His place of comfort is the expected end for you, where you see the blessing manifest in your life (Jeremiah 29:11). If there are any mistakes, He will correct you and bring you back on course. Before the blessing, God has to first inform you of His plans by downloading them into your spirit. He wants to flood your spirit man with understanding of His intentions for you (Ephesians 1:18). As you listen to God’s Word, whatever floods your spirit man and soul is what you will see come to pass in your life this year. Just make sure your spirit man is not flooded with worldly desires like Lot, but instead, you want to be like Abraham who was flooded with the light of God. This light we are talking about is only found in Jesus, so you first need to receive Him as your savior for the flooding to take place, if you have not yet done so.
